 Fall Harvest Days Events 

    

                                                                             Blacksmith Challenge -- 2026 --

 ​Calling all blacksmiths and blacksmith wannabes.  The challenge is on to see who can design and construct the best bottle opener in a 2 hour time period during the Fall Harvest Days Show.  Using a given piece of iron, and forge time, you can get as creative in your opener design as you want.  Openers will be judged at the end of the show on Sunday.  Smiths should have some experience especially if between the ages of 12 & 18.  All must sign a liability waiver and adhere to all safety rules. There are only 11 open times, so if you are interested, please contact Scott at rustyforgeblacksmith@gmail.com for contest rules, waiver form and times available.  Please indicate CHALLENGE on the subject line.
