              Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny, along with over 650 people, enjoyed a fun day and hearty breakfast at Goodells County Park on March 24th.  Attendees enjoyed a cold morning with good food, raffles, bake sales, face painting, kid's crafts and of course, that pesky bunny.  Thank you to all who came out to support the Museum and to all of the members and volunteers who helped to make it a success.

                                     Plow Day

With spring comes the annual plow day at Goodells County Park.  Saturday May 11th is the day when we will be preparing the fields for planting.  Bring your tractor or your lawn chair and watch vintage tractors do what they do best....play in the dirt.  If it's muddy, plan on May 18th or 25th.  Watch this site or facebook for updates.

Work Days

The Farm Museum is planning two work days each month to help maintain the collection of artifacts found in the Museum.  The second and fourth Wednesday of each month have been selected to be the days when members gather to tackle a variety of projects.  Anything from cleaning, to restoration or repair of equipment is possible.  We will meet at the museum around 4:30 pm to start on the projects.  All members and non members are encouraged to attend to help the Museum move forward in the mission.  Please consider giving a couple hours of your time.  Contact Terry or Fred for more information.

                                         PROJECTS
We currently have several projects in the works.  The Farmall A has been completed as has the Ford 2N.  We will soon start milling the cherry lumber to construct the bed of the original poor farm Ford f-5 truck.  The winter plan is also to work on repair of the Port Huron Steam Engine.  If any of these projects interest you, we would welcome your expertise and help.  Also, we will be starting to do some house keeping in the T-barn to create a display space for our blacksmith shop and wood processing machinery. Contact Fred Peasley or Terry Dunn for more information.
